God's commission to us is to "go and make disciples of all the nations." (Matt 28:19), but how is this accomplished? Answer: His method is man. He plants His Spirit within each believer and then uses man to reach man.
But the world is enormous, how do we reach the world? Answer: His strategy is OGOL - Our Generation & Our Location, one step at a time.
OUR GENERATION: At best we may live 100 years. We can't reach the generations that have passed before us. And only in legacy can we influence the generations to come. Our truest IMPACT can only be felt in the generation in which we live.
OUR LOCATION: We have to have a global vision & a global mission, but we can not effectively disciple someone in Sydney, Australia if we live in Seminole, FL. Our truest IMPACT can only be felt in the location in which we live. Think globally, but act locally. We must bloom where we are planted.
God has planted GTD in the Tampa Bay area and Guayabo, Costa Rica. We are committed to blooming where He has planted us. We are committed to reaching our generation in our location. | ||
