 | They Came, They Saw, They Conquered! We had a fantastic time on our Men's Cross Fit Camping Event with Calvary Baptist Church of Clearwater over the weekend... Quality time with God, competitions, campfire, Godly teaching, climbing wall, high ropes course, zipline, play doh, nine inch nails (literally)... 24 non-stop God-awesome hours together!!  | NEW RIM-TO-RIM LOGO!! We are so excited to unveil our NEW Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim (R2R) logo! This will become a patch that can only be earned by doing the one-day 25 mile R2R hike across the Grand Canyon.  | LIQUID 2013 = FANTASTIC TIME!! On March 30th we had our annual Liquid Canoeing Day Trip. We had a great time with 26 fun-loving people as we paddled 4 miles through an amazing maze of mangroves while having squishee ball wars & a great time of fellowship. Read the blog here. See the pics here. |
 | BLOOMIN' SUCCESS =) GTD partnered with People Helping People of Pinellas Park for a fundraiser on Sat March 16, 2013 at the 23rd Annual Country In The Park Festival in Pinellas Park. We made & sold PHP's delicious version of "Blooming Onions" & Curly Fries all day long. Many people came out to volunteer, as well as enjoy the festivities & food.  | Our ministry themes is THRiVE. It's the idea that God designed us to flourish for His glory. Jesus said in John 15, "This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples... I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last." Jesus also said in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Our passion as a ministry is to THRiVE in such Godly ways that it brings honor & glory to our amazing God. And our hope is that people will see the fruit & want to taste and see how good God is.  | FUMCO RETREAT KICKS OFF 2013 TO A GREAT START! Our first retreat of 2013 was with the high school youth group from First United Methodist Church of Oviedo... and it was fantastic! We love this group and have had the honor of providing camping retreats for them for several years. The trip included canoeing, an adventure race, an outdoor movie, and plenty of campfire time. Our devotions & nightly Bible studies focused on the importance of unity within youth groups. It was a God-awesome weekend! Click here for pics & blog entries. |

| The word "salvation" literally means wholeness or to be made whole. Jesus came to fill the God-sized hole in our soul. If you would like to get things right with God and experience that wholeness then all you need to do is place your faith in Jesus Christ alone. One way to place your faith in Jesus is by praying a simple prayer from your heart like this: "Dear God, I confess that I am separated from You. I have missed the mark. I have sinned against You. I ask you to forgive me of all the wrong things I have done. Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for my salvation so that I can be made whole. I ask You to come into my heart and to be my Savior and the Lord of my life. From this day forward I commit my life to following You." If you sincerely placed your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ then you just became a new Christian. The Bible says that you are now born again spiritually. Like any newborn you need to grow. Start reading the Bible & find a great church... your spiritual adventure has just begun! Please let us know about it. We want to celebrate with you! |
