OUCH... GTD RAISES RATES
Unfortunately, with the soaring costs of gas, food, insurance and even air (grin), we have increased our 2008 rates to adjust to the increased costs of providing group outdoor adventures. Typically we wait until the end of each year to assess for rate modifications, but this mid-year increase is a rare exception. Click here to see our updated 2008 Rates. (All rate modifications will not affect any events through June 15th, events pre-paid, or current contracted private events.) |

GTD'S NEW CR MISSION DIRECTOR IS...
We are happy to announce that Erika Rodriquez has become GTD's new Missions Director for Costa Rica. Erika is an amazing young lady with a thriving walk with God and a huge heart for missions. Her role is to oversee all short term mission trips to CR. |

With nearly 40 amazing women from Tampa Covenant Church GTD completed its first ever Women's Retreat. The weekend Island Retreat was a huge success filled with canoeing, island competitions, campfires, delicious meals and powerful Bible studies. It was awesome! See pics here. |

Although we are having to raise our rates this year, we are however, able to help familes save some money by offering free events to kids ages 5 & under. Whenevr possible GTD will allow kids (5 & under) to go for free! (Some restrictions do apply. Look for the kid logo [left]) |

The word "salvation" literally means wholeness. Jesus came to fill the God sized hole in our soul. If you would like to experience that wholeness found only through faith in Jesus Christ pray this simple prayer from your heart: "Lord Jesus, I confess that I have missed the mark. I have sinned. I ask you to forgive me. I ask you to come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. From this day forward I commit my life to you." If you sincerely prayed that simple prayer then you just became a new Christian. The Bible says that you are now born again spiritually. Start reading the Bible & find a great church... Your spiritual adventure has just begun. Please let us know about it. We want to celebrate with you! | |

- GTD PAST 2008 NEWS -
14 high school students from Indian Rocks Christian School along with 1 teacher and 5 other adults just returned from an 8 day GTD Mission Trip to Costa Rica. They spent time in schools sharing the gospel and encouraging abstinence as well as helping at an orphanage with work projects and child care. They even found time to enjoy the zip line canopy tour in the rain forest and swimming in hot springs heated by a volcano. Great job! Next CR Mission Trip: Jun 20-27 & Aug 2-9 |
